Amazing food in Binh Ba

Located some 60 kilometers from the coastal city of Nha Trang to the south, Binh Ba Island is a favorite destination thanks to not only beautiful beaches and untapped landscapes but also a lot of gastronomic treats.
Binh Ba is dubbed the island of lobster. Lobster there is fresh, aromatic and tasty with prices ranging from VND700,000 to VND2 million per kilogram. Tourists can savor many dishes such as steamed lobster served with satay, grilled lobster with cheese, lobster served with garlic butter sauce, lobster porridge and lobster hot pot.
On top of that, grilled lobster with a locally-made salt and green chili sauce is Binh Ba’s signature dish, appealing to any gourmets. Lobster is the first choice of tourists traveling to this island.
Besides, tourists can enjoy a wide variety of other seafood such as crab, clam, sea urchin, and especially squid and snail. You may see Binh Ba islanders dry squid. Local restaurants also serve grilled squid, deep-fried squid with fish sauce, sautéed squid, boiled snail with hot and sour sauce, and many more all tasting fresh and amazing.
Binh Ba also has some delightful snacks. There are a lot of food vendors selling bread and roasted pork and hollow donuts all day long. Slices of pork are well-seasoned and greasy while golden hollow donuts are so irresistible that tourists have to stop by these places to try some. They can also choose to have fish ball noodle soup or Vietnamese-style pancakes.
All kinds of fruit can be found on the island. However, mangoes are the most popular during the summer. Even though Binh Ba’s mangoes are quite small, their flavors are very good thanks to the perfect combination of sweetness and sourness.
